My name is Gregory Kearney and i attend Patterson High School, I am an 11th grader and Im in the program PLTW.
CNC INITIALS
The goal of this project was to learn how to use the cnc machine and test our cnc skills. This is a picture of my peers and i after we completed our cnc initials. Knowing how to use the cnc machines has to do with safety,tools, and programing g&m codes , which are the codes that make the machine do the initials. And I also learned how to used the bandsaw, When using the bandsaw you must wear goggles & always be aware of dangers
 Jewlery Box
 The goal of this project was test our skills on the cnc machines previous from doing the project with the initials.This Is a picture of me hold me jewlery box , you can also see from my knowing of the cnc initials project i put my initials in the top of the jewlery box. And lso working with the cnc machine you must ALWAYS wear goggles in the work area.The thing I kearned when doing this project is about the (z) coordinates, the z axes is like how deep the tool will go in the material the cnc machine is using.
 The Factory System
 This is a photo of me working on my factory system project. You can see in this picture how i am using both of the machines in this picture, the cnc machine and the robotic arm. During this project learned that you can use both of the machines at the sametime, you can also see that im wearing goggles in the picture while im working on the machine.  |
